Not the right type of white

The UK was blanketed in thick, dense fog for the few days leading up to Christmas. Horrible for travellers (many flights cancelled etc), and horrible to drive in, it was quite surreal to walk in.

Sometimes it was like walking through a fine, still mist. Sounds were dulled and one could imagine all sorts of 18th century 'romantic' happenings going on!

Sadly, it warmed up - went from 1 degree to about 5, on christmas day, so no snow! No white Christmas for me then!

How ironic then, that it snowed in the alpine regions of Victoria and Tasmania on Christmas day! I thought it was meant to be summer over there guys???!!!!! :)
